Here comes the sun (Baldr)
Feb. 11th, 2018 09:52 pmThe day Finn Capello told his friends he'd decided to go straight they all thought he was insane, but somehow the con had just become too easy, and quitting while he was ahead seemed like a good idea. Maybe it was something to do with the dreams of being tied up in entrails while a snake dripped poison on him... yea those ones had been weird. Really weird.
That said, he didn't exactly intend to start from the bottom, he knew himself well enough to know that sitting in a mail room was not going to encourage him to stay away from crime, so his idea of 'going straight' had included just a little bit of forgery, manipulation and outright lying to get himself a much higher position - one that would hopefully hold his interest.
So Monday morning rolls around and there he is, strolling into the office ready to work instead of trick everybody into giving him all their money. It's quite a novel feeling.
